For many years, Robeson Community College (RCC) has served the clients of Evergreen
Rehabilitation Center by providing Adult Basic Education and General Education Equivalence Test
Preparation. Now, Evergreen has constructed an additional classroom, specially designed to
accommodate the Computer Literacy and Computer Repair Courses. After much planning and
preparation the new courses have been approved by the Board of Education and the Department of
Corrections.
The classroom houses, state of the art, equipment supplied by Robeson Community College to
provide vocational training that will enable a person to be competitive in the job market anywhere he
might choose to locate after his completion at Evergreen. In fact, there has been a pledge from a local
Computer company to employ the first individuals to complete the Computer Repair Course
